Which one to buy
Ask what you photograph. If it moves fast — sport, birds, motorsport, dance — the X-H2S is the only Fujifilm that competes with full-frame sports cameras, and the stacked sensor is worth the extra five hundred dollars. If it holds still — landscape, studio, product, architecture — the X-H2 gives you 40 megapixels and 8K for less. Neither is a better camera; they are different tools with the same shell.

Is the X-H2S better in low light?
Slightly, because its pixels are larger. The gap is smaller than the difference a fast lens makes.
